1. Acceptance

By accessing or using CityVibes (cityvibes.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

CityVibes is a directory platform that lists WhatsApp and Telegram group chats for digital nomads, expats, and travelers. We also provide AI-generated weekly summaries of group chat activity, translation services, and related tools. The service is offered in free and paid tiers.

3. Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use CityVibes. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans (Light, Pro, Max) are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Lifetime deals are one-time payments granting permanent access to the purchased tier, subject to fair use.

5. Group Chat Directory

CityVibes lists links to third-party group chats on WhatsApp, Telegram, and other platforms. We do not own, operate, or moderate these group chats. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or conduct within any listed group. Joining a group is at your own risk.

6. AI Summaries

AI summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Summaries are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a complete or authoritative account of group activity. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any summary.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service to spam, harass, or abuse others. Scrape or bulk-download data from the platform. Reverse-engineer the AI summary pipeline. Resell or redistribute paid content without permission. Use the service for any illegal purpose. Submit fraudulent or misleading group chat links. Attempt to bypass tier restrictions or payment requirements.

8. Content Submissions

When you submit a group chat link to the directory, you represent that you have the right to share it and that the group is open to new members. We reserve the right to remove any listing at our discretion — including groups that are inactive, spammy, or violate our guidelines.

9. Intellectual Property

The CityVibes name, logo, website design, and AI summary technology are our intellectual property. Group chat names and content belong to their respective owners. You may share links to CityVibes pages but may not reproduce substantial portions of the directory without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

CityVibes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any harm resulting from your use of listed group chats or reliance on AI-generated summaries.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CityVibes and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@cityvibes.io.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
